This rebate is specifically designed for those who need to install an EV power management device to avoid electrical service upgrades when installing a Level 2 EV charger at home.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the EV power management device rebate, interested parties must meet the following criteria:

  1. Be a BC Hydro customer residing in a detached home, row home, duplex, or mobile home.
  2. Install either the DIVVEE 40 or DIVVEE 60 energy management system.
  3. Install an eligible Level 2 EV charger.
  4. Ensure the installation is accompanied by an approved electrical permit (which will be managed by your electrician).
  5. Install both the power management device and the charger on or after December 1, 2023. It’s important to note that rebates are not available for retroactive installs.
